JOSEPH J. MAXWELL JR., Ocotber 18, 2013, of East Falls. Retired Lieutenant with the Philadelphia Police Department after 40 years of service. Member of the following: Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5, League of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Catholic Police and Fire Officers, Southeast Police Chief Association, Roman Catholic H.S. Alumi Associaton ane Veterans of U.S. Army. Beloved husband of Jeanne (nee DiFabio); dear father of Marianne and Laura; also survived by three brothers James (Joan), John (Regina) and Thomas and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 6-8 pm Tuesday, October 22 at the McIlvaine Funeral Home, East Falls and Wednesday, October 23, 8:20-9:30 am followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 am at St. Bridget Church. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
