Lucille F. Kretschman, age 92, died Sunday, January 29, 2017 at her home in Montgomeryville.
She was the beloved wife of 64 years of Philip C. Kretschman. Born in the Bridesburg section of Philadelphia on December 7, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Hedwig (nee. Lapacz) Adamczyk. She was preceded by her sisters, Marie Danowski and Elaine Staniszewski.
Mrs. Kretschman was a graduate of Little Flower High School. She worked in Philadelphia, selling War Assets, and then as a homemaker in Horsham Twp., and enjoyed many trips to Margate, NJ. and South Florida.
Surviving in addition to her husband are 5 loving children; Philip (Jeanne) Kretschman of North Wales, Kenneth Kretschman (Suzanne Witkowski) of Pittsburgh, Stephen (Marianne) Kretschman of Beaver Falls, PA., Karen (Donald) Dietterich of Skippack, and Christopher (Virginia) Kretschman of Glenside, 16 grandchildren; Philip, Dana, Brendan, Casey (Sarai), Kyle, Emily (Patrick) Hodges, Allison, Genevieve (Michael) Lincheck, Kimberly, Stephen (Danielle), Nicole, James, Rebecca, Paul, David and Christopher, as well as 5 great grandchildren; Benjamin, Patricia, Alesa, Adam, and Cameron.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Kretschman’s Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Mary, Mother of Redeemer Catholic Church, 1325 Upper State Rd., North Wales, PA. (in Montgomeryville) 19454, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM in Church before Mass. Interment St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
