Beloved son of the late Mary and Joseph Clarke. Dear brother of Gary (Cindy), Patricia Howard (the late Thomas) and Deborah Ficiak (Peter). Also survived by two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and countless special friends. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Terrence, Richard and Donald and 4 sisters; Maryanne, Judith, Diane and Bernadette.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family at St. Francis de Sales Church, 47th and Springfield Ave., Phila. 19143, on Friday, Oct. 12th, 9:30-11:00 a.m., followed by Joe’s Funeral Mass at 11. Burial will be private.

Dear Family, Dear Gary,
It is with great sadness and regret that I have recently learned of Joe’s death. It was a privilege to have walked on the path of life with him, both in Fribourg, Philadelphia (and on the airwaves at WEXP). His humility, intelligence and openness to those around him, young or old, will be sorely missed as will his incredible sense of finding humour in all situations; however dire they may have been.
