Frith, Walter W. Jr., May 2, 2021, age 71, of Philadelphia.
Beloved son of the late Walter Sr. and Dorothy. Husband of BernaDette Frith. Father of Colleen Lacombe, Walter, Alicia Abruzzese, Katie Bottiglieri, Joseph, Danielle Frith, Julia Frith, Sabrina Frith, Joshua and Jonathon. Walter was preceded in death by his son Jimmy. Also survived by 13 grandchildren; Thomas, Casey, James, Rocco, Octavia, Cole, Nina, Raphael, Nadia, James, Benjamin, Chase and Gabriella, and one great grandchild, Carter. And survived by the following siblings: Elaine Frith, Susan Roccia, Kate Frith, Michael Frith and Joan Corcoran. He was preceded in death by his sister Patricia McCaulley and his brother James Frith. And survived by many nieces and nephews also.
Walter loved all his children fiercely. He was passionate about his faith, fishing, nature, music, Philly sports, food, coffee, the beach and playing the lottery. Walter constantly sought knowledge and ways to better himself. His witty demeanor and humor were unmatched.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation at St. Bridget Church, 3667 Midvale Ave., Phila. PA 19129 on Thursday, May 6 from 9-10:20, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30. Interment private.
Donations in Walter’s memory may be given to the Salvation Army. Walter would stand outside in the cold and ring the bell for the Salvation Army every December.
