Gruszka, Anna Marie (nee Lunardi), January 3, 2022, age 101, of Nicetown and Lafayette Hill.
Loving wife of the late Pete. Beloved “mother” of Gary Gruszka and Joanne Will (Tony). Dear grandmother of Taylor Gruszka and Amanda Will. Also survived by many loving nephews, nieces, cousins and godchildren.
Anna was preceded in death by her brother Henry Lunardi, two sisters, Henrietta Lunardi and Elsie Allegrini; a sister-in-law Carmela Lunardi, and a brother-in-law, Louis Allegrini.
Relatives, friends and East Falls Seniors are invited to her Viewing on Sat. Jan. 8th at 9:30 a.m., at St. Bridget Church, 3667 Midvale Ave., followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to the St. Bridget Memorial Fund.
Masks are required at church. Due to the present surge in the corona virus, there will not be a reception after the interment. Our “hope” is at a later date, to be determined, we can gather together for a life celebration that would honor mom’s would be 102 birthday.

To one of the toughest women I have ever known. I am so graced to have you as my grandmother. I love you now and forever. You were one of a kind. You will be terribly missed but never forgotten. Don’t eat all the gnocchis up there.
