George Joseph Michini, Jr., 58, of Roxborough died October 19, 2022.
He is survived by his siblings Patricia Skovron (David), John Michini (Lori) and James Michini; his aunt Anne Michini Stanley, his uncle Fred Michini, nieces and nephews; Sandy, Brian, David, Mia and Nicholas. Also survived by 8 first cousins; Mary Ann, Paula, Joanne, Irene, Buddy, Marc, Tavi and Anni; and his long time girlfriend, Monica McCartney.
He was preceded in death by his cousins Fred Michini Jr. and Adam Michini. George loved figuring out what makes things work, just like his father, George Sr. Around age 10 he began working on bikes and motor bikes. He loved building and designing his own vehicles. George enjoyed working as an auto mechanic for 40 years. He worked for his Uncle Bud and his cousin Bud. George also liked preserving memories and photos on his computer.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing and Funeral Mass at IHM Church, 819 Cathedral Rd., Phila. 19128 on thursday Oct. 27. Viewing, 10-11. Funeral Mass, 11 o’clock. Interment will be private and at a future time.
