Angela Ludovici, age 82, of East Falls, Philadelphia, died July 1, 2024. She was the beloved aunt of Maria Shepherdson (Paul) and JoAnne Gourlay (Thomas) and the cherished great-aunt of Tina, Marisa, Andrew and Anna. She was the dear GG of Paul, MJ, Frank, Maria and Giustina. Angela was preceded in death by her brother Giustino and her sisters Mary and Anna.
Angela worked in claims in the field of workmen’s compensation insurance. Later, she was an administrative assistant at the Order of the Purple Heart.
Angela was a devoted and hard-working parishioner of St. Bridget Church, serving as an Extraordinary Minister, lector, sexton and in many other roles. She was generous to her church and to many other charities.
She rescued several Golden Retrievers forming close bonds with her pets and the people who helped her care for them.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing at 9:30 on Mon. July 8th at St. Bridget Church, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
