Shirley Hudson, age 75, formerly a longtime resident of the East Falls neighborhood of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully at her residence in Plymouth Meeting on May 10, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Philadelphia, on October 15, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Allen N. and Ellen (nee Campbell) Maenner.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Hudson in 2017.
Shirley enjoyed watching movies, listening to music, and going to the casinos at the Shore. She appreciated a good cup of coffee and a cigarette. Her greatest love was spending time with her family.
Surviving are her daughter’s Venus Robbins (Charles), Dawn Foley, Mary Zimmerman and Karen Zimmerman, sisters Linda Norris and Joanne Wertz, many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Nicholas “Nicky” Maenner and sisters Carolyn Adams and Ellen “Bebop” Maenner.
