McIlvaine, Marie Sandra, “Sandy” August 2, 2017, age 56, of northern VA and East Falls. Beloved daughter of Joan and the late John McIlvaine. Loving mother of Julia and Claire Thompson. Dear sister of Beth, Debbie (Harold Brubaker), Laura and Margaret (Paul Shields).
Loving aunt of 5 nephews and 5 nieces. Also survived by 17 first cousins, her Aunt Nancy McNeil (John) and uncles Boyd McIlvaine Sr., John McNeil and Dan Smith. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her aunts Kathleen Flanagan McIlvaine, Mary Ellen Hulse and Elaine Smith and by her Uncle Chuck McIlvaine.
Visitation Friday Aug. 4th, 3-7pm at the McIlvaine Funeral Home, 3711 Midvale Ave. Phila. 19129 and Sat. Aug. 5th 9:30-10:30 a.m. followed by a Service at the Funeral Home at 10:30. Interment private. Donations in Sandy’s memory may be given to the Religious of the Assumption, 1001 S. 47th St., Phila. Pa. 19143.
