Kathleen B. Dorwart, of Glenside, PA, age 85, died February 7, 2024.
Kathleen was the beloved daughter of Joseph A. and Mary Cunningham Dorwart,
She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Joseph. She is survived by cousins Elizabeth Walsh, Eileen Colville, Francis T. Dorwart, Daniel J. Dorwart, Jr., Donna Mann and many other relatives and life-long friends.
Kathleen enjoyed a long career as a child psychologist at Abington Hospital and CORA Services.
She was a proud graduate of Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School, Holy Family University (B.A.), Bryn Mawr College (M.S.) and La Salle University (M.B.A.). She was devoted to her Catholic faith.
A Viewing (10 a.m.) and Mass of Christian Burial (11 a.m.) will be held at St Bridget Church, 3667 Midvale Ave,, Phila. PA 19129 on Saturday, February 17th, 2024. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in Kathleen’s memory to Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School, 1345 Sumneytown Pike, Lower Gwenydd Township, PA 19002 or Holy Family University, 9801 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19114.
My deepest condolences to the family. Kathleen has always been a special soul who I love dearly. I will miss her so much, but take comfort that she is in heaven with my husband Gerald, her family and our dear Lord. Rest in peace, Kathleen. Love you always, Lys Cunningham.
