Barbara A. Lasher, May 1, 2019, of East Falls.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Dear mother of Joseph (Barbara), Barbara Ann Brooks (Ed) and Christopher (Kathy). Loving grandmother of Sara, Joe, Ryan Brooks, the late Shawn Brooks, Christopher and Olivia. Also survived by 2 great grandchildren, Cameron and Bella.
Barbara worked at Tastycake for many years and for the Medical College of Pennsylvania for 30 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Sat. May 4th, from 10:30 until noon at St. Bridget Church, followed by her Funeral Mass at noon. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to St. Bridget Church, 3667 Midvale Ave., Phila. Pa. 19129.

Joe, Barbara, and Chris, I have known your mom for so many years, she was my saving grace when my son was born and we had some pretty good times over the years. Always the prettiest lady in the room !! And when my Chris died it was her phone call that helped me the most. I know she is out of pain now and enjoying a beer with your dad, and that should give you guys some comfort. Love you, Jammie
Barbara and I have been friends since childhood walked to school St Bridget’s every day I have so many memories of Barb.Where would I begin I will miss climbing her steps to see my friend.The last time at her home she said it’s just you and me .I never thought it would be so soon. God Bless you save a place for me .
