James P. McMahon—9/17/2020

James P. McMahon, Sept. 17, 2020, of East Falls.

Beloved son of Dorothy (nee Cox) and Hugh. Survived by his sister, Marie Wilkinson (Bill), two sisters-in-law, Connie and Trudy, seven nieces and nephews: Michael (Mary), Dennis (Angel), Rob (Barbara), Diane (Eric), Bill, Bryan (Kate) and Ray (Anne) and several great nieces and nephews. Jim was very close to D.J., Jenn and their children.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Robert and Theresa and by his brothers-in-law Fred and Bob.

Jim was a writer for City Council and the Delaware River Port Authority. He was an avid reader and he loved playing Risk and Chess. He was a philosopher and also a spiritual person.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Thurs. Sept. 24th, 9:30-10:30a.m. at St. Bridget Church, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30. Interment Westminster Cemetery. 

Donations in his memory can be given to Marlee’s Mission, PO Box 18540, Philadelphia, PA.
