Thomas J. Leahy, July 28, 2021, age 55, of East Falls.
Son of the late Frank and Ruth (nee Davis). Beloved father of Michael. Loving grandfather of Taylor Paige and Michael “Bubba” Leahy. Dear brother of Ruth Whims (Don), Dennis Leahy and Mary Ann Leahy (Ray Santiago). Tommy is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Jim and Frank.
Tommy loved playing sports and he was a major supporter of all Philly sports teams. As a child he played with teams of the EFSA, and then Falcons football and later at RCHS. He graduated from Roman in 1983.
Tommy worked at Drexel University for over 20 years. More recently, his favorite thing to do was to play with his grandchildren, Taylor and Bubba.
Relatives and Friends are invited to his Viewing Wed. Aug. 4, 6-8p.m., at the McIlvaine Funeral Home, 3711 Midvale Ave. in East Falls. Another Viewing will be held Aug. 5 at St. Bridget Church, 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by his Funeral Mass. Interment private.
