Matthew M.Gannon, of East Falls, died Sept. 28, 2022.
He is survived by his wife Louise (nee Aiello) and his son Matt.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Michele.
Matt graduated from St. James High School. He then joined the US Navy. Later he worked as a welder at the Navy shipyard in Chester for several years. Matt was a Philadelphia policeman for 17 years. Matt enjoyed music and he played the guitar with the group, Nu Country Sound. He was very interested in classic cars. After retiring from the police force, he began a business reupholstering them.
Matt will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation at the McIlvaine Funeral Home, 3711 Midvale Ave., Wed. Oct. 5th, 6-7:30 p.m. Service at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
