Judith S. Tafuto “Judy” (nee Shortt). age 86, of East Falls, died March 1, 2023.
Judy was born and raised in North Jersey. She graduated from Fort Lee HS in 1954. She attended Pace University in NYC.
Judy is survived by sons, James, Robert and William Tafuto, and her daughter Judi Daouphars (Philippe), 12 grandchildren and extended family. Judy was preceded in death by her husband Frank and her son Tom.
Judy’s Memorial Service will be held at Falls Presbyterian Church, 3800 Vaux St., Phila. 19129 on Tuesday, March 14th at 11 o’clock. Donations in her memory may be given to CHOP,
3401 Civic Center Blvd., Phila. PA 19104.

My dear friend Judy, had a heart bigger than the earth. She helped so many people in so many ways. She helped me to feel a part of East Falls Presbyterian Church. From the moment I meet her, we became close friends. We would go out to lunch, attend church gatherings together, and talked almost everyday on the phone. Her humor was priceless. She was the ultimate lady. I thank God that our paths crossed. May you be at peace Judy. I thank God for being my “pew buddy” at church.
