Loretta C. Filoon—3/14/14

Loretta C. Filoon (nee Martino), March 14, 2014, of East Falls. She died peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late Bob Filoon; dear mother of Linda Spangler (Tim), Bob (Lisa), Stephen (Lisa) and Marie Dominico (Mike); loving Me-Mom of Stephanie, Tim, Bob, Greg, Michael and Alyssa; also survived by her sisters Rita Liberat; and Joan Logue and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death; by her grandson Peter. Everyone who knew her appreciated her friendship, kindness and especially her home-baked goodies. Some of Loretta’s greatest passions were cooking. gardening, flowers and playing the lottery. She will be greatly missed, but we will always cherish the laughter and good times we shared as a family. Respecting Loretta’s wishes, services and burial will be private. Donations in Loretta’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hosptial, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38165 or to St. Bridget Church, 3667 Midvale Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19129.
