Carl F. Ernst, December 12, 2014, age 78, of Wilkes-Barre and Roxborough, Pa. He passed away on his birthday. Beloved husband of Karen Marie (McIlhenny). Devoted stepfather to Steven Francisco. Dear father of Matthew (Lois), Catherine Lisacchi (Anthony) and Ann Marie Ryan (William). Loving Pop-Pop to thirteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Ann Marie Sulewski. Visitation will be held at the McIlvaine Funeral Home, 3711 Midvale Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19129. 6-8 pm, Tuesday, December 16 and Wednesday, December 17, 9-10 a.m., followed by his Funeral service at 10 o’clock. The family requests those desiring, in lieu of flowers, to make a donation to Carl’s Cremation Fund in care of the Funeral Home, address above.
