John J. Gabel—4/12/2015

Gabel, John J., April 12, 2015, age 90, of East Falls.  Beloved son of the late William and Anna Gabel.  He was preceded in death by his two sisters and three brothers, Mary, Bill, Bob, Frank and Ruth.  John is survived by several nieces and nephews.  He was close to Marliese Aellis (Bob) and Carole Brown (Daniel).  Mike Murphy, owner of The Irish Saloon, was a special friend to John, as was his father before him.  John served in the Navy in WWII.  He was a member of the VFW.  At John’s request, Services will be private.
