Roy D. Cortez—4/10/2015

Cortez, Roy D., April 10, 2015, age 59, of Phila.  Beloved son of the late Juan and Carrie Cortez.  Dear brother of Edmund (Karen) and Millie Cortez.  Also survived by two nephews, Christopher and Michael, and a niece, Heather.  Roy worked for the National Park Service.  Locally he was involved with an art group known as “The Plastic Club.”  Roy was very active in many volunteer organizations such as East Falls Tree Tenders, the Pa. Horticultural Society, the Center for Advocacy and Rights of the Elderly and Action Aids.  Donations to the Pa. Horticultural Society in his memory would be appreciated.
