Evelyn was the widow of the late Harold Brixius. She is survived by her 4 children: Shirley Childress (Michael), Joyce Starling, Patricia Shull and Kevin Bernat (Joanne). She was preceded in death by her son Edmund Bernat. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren, a brother, Harvey Shirley and 3 sisters, Margaret Delauney, Mary Shirley and Frances Shirley and many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by brothers Harry and Henry and a sister, Irene.
