John T. Schmitt, Jr., October 29, 2017, age 77 of Philadelphia.
Husband of the late Margaret Anne Higgins Schmitt. Father of John T. III (Virginia Rutter), Brian T. (Marie-Charlotte Garaut), Michelle Anne (Benjamin Herold), and Megan Cross Schmitt. Also survived by two grandchildren Grace and Virginia Herold, his partner Claudia Campbell, his brother Robert T. and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation at St. Vincent de Paul Church at 109 East Price Street on Saturday, November 4 at 10:00am followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Interment private.
