Theresa H.Corcoran (nee Altomare), Aug. 23, 2018, of East Falls.
Beloved wife of the late Martin Francis. Dear mother of Bridget Wolverton (Michael), Charles (Maureen), Martin (Loretta), Michael (Wanda), Theresa Roof (Jack), Catherine Peterson (Steven), Louise McShane (Jack) and Christopher (Joan). Loving grandmother of 29 and great grandmother of 32. Theresa was preceded in death by 4 brothers; Ralph, Mariano, Emilio and Louis Altomare.
Theresa was a member of the Third Order of Saint Dominic. She was very involved in and supportive of all aspects of parish life at St. Bridget Church. Before starting her life as a matriarch, Theresa worked as a switchboard operator and payroll/office worker. She took great pleasure in mentoring her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her many friends felt her gracious warmth and enjoyed her hospitality.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Mon. Aug. 27, 6-8pm and Tues. the 28th, 9-10 a.m. at the McIlvaine Funeral Home, 3711 Midvale Ave., followed by her Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30, at St. Bridget Church. Interment St. Patrick Cem., Norristown.
