Louis J. Morrell, age 88, September 30, 2019. Beloved son of Joseph and Anna (nee Basile) Morrell. Survived by his nephew, Kevin M. Morrell and numerous other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Joseph, Mario, George and Robert.
Lou served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He became a staff sergeant NCO in 2 years.
Lou was a computer programmer for Gulf Oil for 25 years. Then he worked for the US Treasury.
He was a godfather to many and he taught his nephews how to be good uncles and godfathers.
Lou was a faithful and practicing Catholic and he was devoted to St. Bridget Church, where he was an altar server and then a lector.
His Viewing and Funeral Mass were held at St. Bridget on Friday, October 4th. Interment was at Westminster Cemetery.
