Gerald A. Porto (Jerry), May 14, 2020, of East Falls.
Beloved husband of the late Edna, nee Coyle. Dear father of Ann Marie “Annie” Fuller (Brian) and grandfather of Michael, Brandon, Matthew, Mark and Chelsea Howk.
Jerry is remembered fondly by members of the St. Bridget choir, Linda Norris and many other friends in East Falls.
He was a World War II vet and he was an excellent carpenter. He did work for the church, the Kelly family and a former mayor of Philadelphia. Jerry was very passionate and dedicated to his work and to his family. He had a good sense of humor.
The family is planning a virtual service for Jerry and a Mass at St. Bridget Church sometime in the future.
