July 6, 1943 – June 11, 2021

Agnes E. Burns, nee Bischoff, June 11, 2021, age 77, of East Falls and Cape May. Beloved wife of Joseph A.

Devoted mother of Katherine Klinger (Philip), Joseph (Gina), Michael (Monica), Theresa Mullen (Jim), David (Sarah Costelloe), and Mary Montovani (Jon). Loving grandmother of Katie Radick, Lucas and Dylan Burns, Claire, Caroline, and Nora Burns, Jessica, James, and Erin Mullen, Logan and Quinn Burns, Sean Harrington (Sadie), Dean and Max Montovani and great grandmother of Charlotte Klein. Survived by two sisters, Pat Proses (Charles) and Mary Conway (Al Cowling) and one brother, David Bischoff (Mary Kessler), as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by five siblings: Joseph, Francis and Robert “Gus” Bischoff, Winifred Sontag and Barbara Kenney. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday, June 17th 9:30 am–10:50 am at St. Bridget’s Church, 3667 Midvale Avenue, Philadelphia, PA followed by her Funeral Mass at 11am.  Interment private at a later date.

Donations may be made in memoriam to The Central Association of the Miraculous Medal, 475 E. Chelten Avenue, Philadelphia, PA  19144.

    Our sister Agnes was blessed with a loving family, a wonderful life and now is Resting In Peace. Let us heal through remembering all the wonderful times we shared with her. Our prayers to the Burns family. Love to everyone from Brother David.
