John R. “Jackie “Brown, age 73, of Philadelphia and Bayville, N.J. died September 7, 2021.
He is survived by his fiancee Josephine Hatch (Peppy), his son Shaun, granddaughter Kelley Michelle Leonard and her mother, Patty Leonard. Also survived by Peppy’s children Rollie Hatch (Rachel Meyers) and Angeline Hatch; Rollie and Rachel’s daughter Marlow Hatch, Peppy’s sister Peggy Ramano (Joseph) and their son Justin.
Jackie would also want to acknowledge his many friends in AA and NA as well as his childhood buddies from Abbottsford with whom he has remained in touch over the years.
Thanks to all the Nurses and Aides at Tallwoods in Bayville for taking terrific care of Jackie (and for putting up with him)! Friends may call to greet the family on Friday Sept. 17th from 11:00-12:30 at the McIlvaine Funeral Home, 3711 Midvale Ave., Phila. PA 19129, followed by a Service at 12:30.
Due to Covid, we will also be holding a Celebration of Life Event at a later date (to be announced on Social Media).
