Francis Gillard, age 90, of East Falls, Philadelphia, died March 13, 2023.
He was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen (nee Marasco). dear father of Janet Schwoerer (Jack), Bill (Cathie), and Kathy, loving grandfather of Gina, Jessica, Matthew, Erica, Michael, Billy, and great-grandfather of Isabella. He is also survived by his sisters Regina Gillard and Mary Mayer (Jerry), brother-in-law Robert Marasco, and many nieces and nephews.
Frank was retired from the Reading Railroad, and was a proud member of Roman Catholic HS, class of 1950.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday, March 22, from 6:30-8:30 pm at the McIlvaine Funeral Home, 3711 Midvale Ave., and Thursday, March 23, from 9:30-10:30 at St. Bridget Church, followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 am. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank’s memory can be made to St. Bridget Church Tower Fund.
