Robert Lee Schuyler, PhD, age 81, died May 13, 2023, after a brief illness.
Robert was a Professor Emeritus at the University of Pennsylvania, where he taught for over 40 years.
He is survived by three nephews and an extensive network of former students.
Robert was a former President of the Society for Historical Archaeology, and the recipient of their J. C. Harrington Award for service to the field, among other academic and professional awards.
