John J. Flanagan—6/28/2023

John (Jack) J. Flanagan passed away on Wednesday, June 28th, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Jack was born on December 20, 1941 to John and Helen Flanagan. Jack will be remembered as a loving husband, proud father and grandfather, and loyal friend.

He lived for spending time with family and friends, watching the Phillies and playing golf and cards at Sandy Run Golf Club as often as possible.

He will be missed by his loving wife of 22 years, Denise Flanagan, his children John Flanagan, Steven (Carol) Flanagan, Gary (Gretchen) Flanagan, Sharon (Andrew) O’Malley, Dominic (Marlena) Pellegrino, Robert (Krysta) Pellegrino, 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and countless friends. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation (10 a.m.), followed by his Funeral Mass (11 o’clock) at St. Bridget Church on Thursday, July 13th.

    Our sincerest condolences to the Flanagan family for the passing of your great-grandfather, grandfather, father, husband. Although I did not get to know Jack on a personal level, I am acquainted with many members of his family and understand that he enjoyed a very colorful life, and impacted in a positive way the lives of many. Leaving behind many memories to draw upon during sentimental moments.

    Although I will not be able to attend in person on July 13th, please know that Jack and his family we remembered in our thoughts and prayers.
