Charles Scollon—3/15/2015

Charles J. Scollon III, March 15, 2015, of East Falls. Beloved husband of Susan, dear father of Charles IV (Colleen). Coleen VanOsten (James), Michael (Tara) and Maria Torpey (Kevin); loving grandfather of Erica, Charles V,  Patrick, Tyler, Devin, Michael II, Gavin, Kiera, Madison and Jackson; also survived by two brothers, Gregory and Brian, and a sister, Maureen McCarty, and many nieces and nephews. Charles proudly served the citizens of Philadelphia for 35 years as a member of the Canine Unit and the Narcotics Bureau of the Philadelphia Police Department. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Thursday evening, March 19, 2016, 6 to 8 p.m. at McIlvaine Funeral Home, East Falls and Friday morning 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Bridget Church, 3667 Midvale Avenue.
