Elizabeth Summers Cary, (Betsy), age 92, November 12, 2015, of Germantown and N. Chatham, MA; formerly of Haverford. Betty taught at Germantown Friends School from 1944 until 2011, after which she volunteered her services. Beloved wife of the late Stephen Grellet Cary. Mother of Ann Sampson (Hugh), Charles Reed Cary II (Deborah) and Dorothy W. Cary (Philip Kane). Grandmother of seven and great grandmother of four. Also survived by her sisters Dorothy Howell and Helen Gregg and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Sylvia and brothers Robert and Dudley. Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Meeting for Worship on Saturday, December 19, 2 pm, at Germantown Monthly Meeting. 47 W. Coulter Street, Philadelphia, PA 19144.
