Beloved husband of the late Patricia (nee Wood). Dear father of Patricia Skovron (David), George Jr., John (Lori) and James. Also survived by 5 grandchildren; Sandy, Brian, David, Mia and Nicholas, his sister Anne Stanley, his brother Fred (Joan), many nieces, nephews and his IHM family and community.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Bud and Dora.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Sat. Jan. 27th, 9:30-10:45 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 819 E. Cathedral Rd., Phila. 19128, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations in George’s memory may be made to IHM Church.
