Beatrice Bickel, formerly of East Falls, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2022 at the age of 82. Bea, as she was affectionately known, was the beloved daughter of Beatrice V. (Cassidy)Bickel and Henry C. Bickel. She is predeceased by her sisters, Dorothy Stevenson, Eileen Bickel, and her brothers, Henry Bickel, Frederick Bickel, and Robert Bickel.
She will lovingly be remembered as a gentle, exceptionally sweet, and kind aunt and great-aunt by her surviving nieces and nephews.
Bea was an accomplished crocheter who donated her newborn layette sets and blankets over many years. She cherished family traditions and lovingly passed along holiday recipes, family stories, and her craft to younger generations.
Relatives and friends are invited to Bea’s Life Celebration on Saturday, October 15th at 10 am at McIlvaine Funeral Home, 3711 Midvale Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19129. She will be laid to rest at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.
