Elaine D. McCaffrey, of East Falls, Philadelphia, and Brigantine, NJ, died June 9, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur A. McCaffrey,
She was the dear mother of Kathy Davis, Walter T. Kenney Jr., Linda Barry and Fred Kenney, and grandmother of Gene and Sean Suski and Kevin and Richard Barry. She is additionally survived by 6 of Art McCaffrey’s children, Margie, Kathy, Jeanne, Eileen, and Art, and Maureen. A seventh stepchild, Teresa, is predeceased. Also surviving are Art’s many grandchildren, Elaine’s 2 brothers, Fred Hammet and Lamar Hammet (Evelyn), and several nieces.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Sat. June 17th, 10-11 a.m. at St. Bridget Church, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11. Interment Laurel Hill East. Donations in Elaine’s memory may be given to the St. Bridget Tower Fund.
