Marlyn Jean Spedding (nee Andrews), age 93, of East Falls, Philadelphia, died August 11, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph S. Spedding Sr.; dear mother of Marie Anne Gibbs (Stephen), Elaine Joan Goffredo (the late Jere Jr.) and Joseph S. Jr. (Janelle); loving grandmother of Kimberlee, Justin, Emily and Elise, and great grandmother of Olivia, Ava and Ella.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family at Falls Presbyterian Church, Midvale Ave. at Vaux St., on Sat. August 19th, from 10-11:15 a.m., followed by her Service at 11:30.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your mom. She was a beautiful sweet lady. I loved chatting with her when I walked through the neighborhood when I was going to my mom’s house.
I always knew if I ever had a problem, or a worry, just chatting with her made me feel better.
I knew her as another “street mom” for most of my life.
I will miss her very much .

So sorry to hear of Mrs. Spedding’s passing. I extend my sympathies to the family and friends who knew and loved her. I also belong to East Falls Presbyterian Church and know how deeply she will be missed.
